What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule patients with a focus on safety and minimizing medical errors
- Participate in process improvement projects to enhance service delivery
- Audit online tickets and scheduling appointments for accuracy
- Act as a subject matter expert for the scheduling model, troubleshooting errors
- Assist with training new staff and support team lead in daily operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Patient Services Specialist 2
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Familiarity with Epic systems or similar scheduling software
