      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manually process payments and electronically process Electronic Data Interface (EDI) payment files to billing platforms
      - Resolve rejected payments from electronic posting files and balance posting to payment batches
      - Communicate with patients, third-party payers, and coworkers to resolve unidentified payments and credit balances
      - Prepare bank deposits by encoding and balancing checks, and classifying funds to appropriate general ledger categories
      - Process satellite clinic deposit paperwork and validate receipts for manual posting

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must reside in the Seattle Sound Region in WA State
      - High school diploma or GED required
      - Working knowledge of third-party payer explanation of benefits and healthcare billing processes
      - Proficiency in operating a 10-key and PC, including spreadsheet software
      - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Understanding of CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding
      - Ability to audit effectively and provide cross-training
