What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage client Payroll Workbook, ensuring accuracy and compliance before finalizing payroll
- Collaborate with client teams and processing platform contacts for timely payroll processing
- Train and become proficient in multiple payroll, benefit, and 401(k) platforms
- Oversee client implementation and conversions of payroll and benefit plans
- Transition client work effectively to other Payroll Managers and internal team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in processing multi-state payroll with exempt and non-exempt employees
- Solid knowledge and experience with state registrations and payroll tax compliance activities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or other relevant certification
- Experience with payroll platforms such as TriNet, Rippling, ADP, and Gusto
- Experience processing payroll for multiple companies/clients and multi-state companies
- Knowledge of Human Resources practices
