      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee programming initiatives for the senior cohort and coordinate operations for the Writing and Math Success Centers
      - Develop and facilitate transition and college readiness curriculum for precollege and college students
      - Serve as the first point of contact for students interested in transferring to UW-Madison
      - Lead first-year orientation efforts and professional development curriculum for college freshmen
      - Implement and evaluate best practices in recruitment, retention, and engagement of students

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - At least two years of work experience serving/advising/supporting students with their educational goals
      - Minimum of two years of work experience with a college access program and/or pre-college students
      - Strong experience with curricular and co-curricular programming for students transitioning from high school to college
      - Experience leading or supporting programming initiatives that promote student retention
      - Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in a related field preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding seasonal staff
      - Experience planning curricular and/or co-curricular programs for students
      - Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication (oral and written), and organizational skills
      - Knowledge of academic programs and resources at UW-Madison is highly desirable
      - Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish or Hmong
