My name is Marie Ågren and I was lucky enough to join Telia a bit more than a year ago as Head of People & Culture (P&C) in Telia Sweden. I have a fantastic crew of eight People Partners that cater for the people agenda of Telia Sweden – across the consumer unit, enterprise unit, customer support and delivery as well as our infrastructure unit.

Our local P&C-team collaborate closely with our business units and ensure strong muscles through support from our colleagues within Telia Company’s People & Culture unit. Ready to make better happen?

The pitch is simple really, in this role you work in close collaboration with a strategic People Partner, more specifically Tony Pedersen. You two form a tight team, executing on the people agenda for B2C, together with the leaders within B2C. And – I can assure you the job is done in a context of a great culture of dare & care! You also collaborate closely with other People Partners in Sweden and you ensure support from our specialist colleagues from our group P&C-unit.

You report formally to me, as Head of People and Culture Telia Sweden, work closely together with Tony, and you are an active member of the leadership teams for B2C Channel Stores, a unit of around 500 employees headed by Cathrine Chukri. You will be her trusted partner on topics such as HR, team development and organization development. B2C Channel stores is not only a well-functioning and successful retail organization, it is also an important incubator of talent for Telia Company.

The main responsibility in your role will be to:

      • In addition with support offered from People Hub, provide guidance for B2C leaders in individual cases related to labor law, work environment, reward etc.
      • Provide support for team development (facilitating team journeys, improving engagement & performance)
      • Coordinate and guide leaders in formal processes/forums, e.g. MBL / Working environment.
      • Participate in cross-functional projects in the overall people agenda of Telia.

      Is this you?
For this role you need to have around seven years or more of experience from broader roles within the field of HR (HR generalist/HR Partner/HR BP/People Partner). We want you to have solid experience of leader support in labor law, work environment and performance management. Moreover, knowledge from areas such as reward, team development, learning & development, as well as project management experience from driving HR-initiatives, are all requested capabilities.
