      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and evaluate medical record documentation to ensure accurate coding for outpatient visits
      - Assign and sequence correct ICD-10-CM and CPT codes based on medical information
      - Provide technical guidance to medical staff regarding documentation issues and coding principles
      - Audit clinical documentation to validate support for services rendered
      - Research and recommend actions to correct coding discrepancies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent required
      - Certified Professional Coder - American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred
      - 0-1 year of medical coding experience preferred
      - Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT®, HCPCS, and modifiers for professional fee services coding
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational abilities to meet deadlines

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with medical coding in a healthcare setting
      - Familiarity with coding compliance and regulatory standards
      - Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving
      - Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications
      - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
