What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain organized data analysis scripts and processes for project data
- Perform statistical analysis of project results and generate publication-quality tables and figures
- Write and submit draft publications based on program data
- Coordinate with the program lead to track progress and prioritize projects
- Support and mentor research assistants, technicians, and graduate students
What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD in plant pathology, plant breeding, or genetics
- Significant experience with statistical analyses and programming languages such as R
- Proven track record of submitting and completing peer-reviewed scientific publications
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in data analysis and writing within plant pathology or agronomy fields
- Efficiency in summarizing and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
- Strong knowledge and experience in statistical analysis
