What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurately process and enter medication orders into the pharmacy operating system
- Conduct medication history interviews and provide counseling on food-drug interactions
- Maintain patient records and verify the accuracy of patient and prescription information
- Utilize various software programs to process prescriptions and manage patient profiles
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines and company policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be willing to obtain a non-resident state technician's license for Indiana and Pennsylvania
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association license required
- Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and document information accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English

- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and prescription processing
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
