- Serve as an expert in identification of philanthropic needs in the U.S. and how they can be solved through bringing the full power of Bank of America to bear.
- Partner with regional Philanthropic Giving teammates to ensure global strategy aligns with the Enterprise strategy
- Manage integration and business relationships to ensure the CSR strategy is delivered using the most effective levers possible - which may or may not include philanthropy.
- Identify and understand the needs of our Local Market Network to inform Market-focused program and process design.
- Know and understand research and trends related to the advancement of social mobility and economic opportunity.
- Identify opportunities to highlight how Bank of America is creating positive social impact in local communities in coordination with key stakeholders and communications.
- Lead and influence messaging to connect the Philanthropic Giving teams contributions to business purpose, results, and success.
- Lead a team of philanthropic giving experts that identify data-driven needs, partner and deploy grants to non-profits to advance the goals of CSR.
- Lead and implement a framework in support of Local Markets to deliver philanthropic grants and signature BofA programs in an efficient, effective, measurable and sustainable manner.
- Lead the company’s signature CSR programs (e.g., Neighborhood Builders, Student Leaders) including program design, strategy, and execution with a risk-based process approach.
- People Manager & Coach: Coaches to sustain and elevates organizational performance while differentiating to ensure pay for performance.
- Manager of Process & Data: Challenges end-to-end process efficiency and effectiveness, champion data driven decision-making and removes obstacles to optimize operations.
- Enterprise Advocate & Communicator: Contributes to enterprise strategy and influence messaging to connect team contributions to business purpose, results, and success.
- Risk Manager: Inspects and challenges risk controls, governance and culture to ensure the timely identification, escalation, debate and remediation of risk across the organization.
- Financial Steward: Efficiently allocates and manages resources across the organization to drive short- and long-term profitability.
- Enterprise Talent Leader: Inspects and manages the health of the bench to ensure succession for the organization, while supporting enterprise talent needs.

- Demonstrated understanding of navigating the enterprise, end-to-end thinking, and ability to deliver work in a matrixed environment.
- Strategic, logical, and creative thinker with an ability to translate strategy into clear objectives and pragmatic tactics that drive intended and impactful results.
- History of team performance management with direct coaching and employee development experience.
- History of partnership with local market delivery, combined with knowledge of the bank's products and services, culminating in a deep understanding of the intersection of profits and purpose.
- Demonstrated executive experience communicating to Senior Leadership and Management Team.
- Well-developed experience applying sound decision making, grounded in the company's risk framework
- Ability to lead through collaboration and influence; proficiency to develop frameworks to drive consistent execution and transparency across teams broader than one’s own remit.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years experience leading through change and influencing via demonstrated critical thinking and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated leadership proficiency in operational risk mitigation.
- Deep knowledge of the bank’s local market delivery strategy and the role of the Local Market Organization in the enterprise narrative.
- Ability to navigate and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external to the bank.
- Proven experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously, strong prioritization and time management skills, self-directed, results-oriented.

Job Description:
This job is responsible for leading the enterprise Corporate Social Responsibility and Philanthropic Giving strategy. Key responsibilities include delivering and executing innovative business and philanthropic initiatives globally and regionally, to ensure the bank meets reported goals. Job expectations include representing the business in a variety of social topics internally and externally by prioritizing creation of social mobility, economic opportunity and governance in the communities we live and serve.
Manages the Philanthropic Giving Team. Accountable for delivering and executing innovative Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to ensure the bank meets reported goals. Expectations include delivering the full breadth of the bank’s programs and services to communities, partnering across the company to understand community impact, management of a team of philanthropic giving professionals and a focus on operational excellence related to program delivery. The goal of CSR is to drive social mobility, economic opportunity and governance in the communities in which we live and work. We do this through a focus, internally and externally, on addressing basic needs, income creation, stable housing and empowering communities.
