What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to patients/clients under the supervision of a physical therapist
- Tailor treatments to meet individual patient needs, considering physical and age-related factors
- Foster patient independence in alignment with their functional levels and potential
- Engage with a diverse patient population in their home environment
- Collaborate with physical therapists to develop and implement effective treatment plans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire
- Washington Physical Therapist Assistant License upon hire if practicing within the state
