What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Develop and adjust individual patient therapy plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate billing and productivity records
- Prepare patients and families for discharge with appropriate education and home exercise programs
- Attend staff meetings and participate in continuous professional development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida
- Current hands-on BLS certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Commitment to adhering to policies and procedures regarding patient rights and safety
- Excellent service orientation, demonstrating courtesy, compassion, and respect for all customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation systems
- Knowledge of current rehabilitation practices and standards
