What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide a full range of physical therapy services in a home environment
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, and coworkers
- Document patient responses to treatment and progress made
- Educate patients and families on resources for functional independence
- Participate in performance improvement management activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate of an accredited PTA degree program or foreign equivalent
- Current licensure in the state of primary practice
- Experience working with adult and geriatric populations
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain productivity while being resource-conscious
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in home health care settings
- Participation in continuing education and professional development activities
