What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct virtual consultations, diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and minor medical conditions
- Prescribe medication and provide health education and guidance regarding treatment options
- Perform administrative tasks such as updating patient charts and billing codes
- Monitor patient responses to treatment plans for both acute and chronic conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for comprehensive patient care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree as a Physician Assistant
- Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) from the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Registered Physician Assistant (RPA) certification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or virtual medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care

- Proficiency in telehealth technology
- Additional certifications related to urgent care or emergency medicine
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
