- You plan, organize, and coordinate all production activities in such a way that the set production goals are achieved. This way you set up efficient procedures, optimize the workflow and monitor the available resources. Finally, encourage teamwork through efficient communication between all teams.
- You ensure that high-safety and quality standards are maintained at every stage of production. You do this by, among other things, continuously improve our quality and promote continuous improvements to guarantee superior product quality. Moreover, you create a quality awareness that you propagate throughout the plant.
- You will oversee day-to-day plant operations, including inventory management, production planning, equipment maintenance, supply chain management, and coordination with other departments within the company. You emphasize the importance of operational efficiency and stimulate continuous improvement. In this way you encourage employees to report opportunities for improvement, which lead to a reduction in waste and an increase in productivity.
- You ensure that all factory operations comply with food hygiene safety standards and regulations. For example, you implement appropriate safety measures, ensure that staff are trained in safety regulations and manage safety audits and inspections. You give priority to the safety and well-being of the employees, make safety guidelines negotiable, and promote a safety-conscious working environment.
- You promote a positive work environment that improves employee engagement and overall morale. You do this by encouraging open communication, actively listening to feedback, and carrying out initiatives to optimize this morale. Finally, you organize team building activities, recognize and celebrate successes together and offer opportunities for professional growth to the employees.
- You have at least 10 years of managerial experience within a production environment, where you also led other managers.
- Acting at master’s degree thinking level with knowledge of the (food)process industry. You have a good knowledge and experience with lean management.
- Because you can oversee the bigger picture, you think ahead with the desired result in mind and proactively plan the necessary improvement actions.
- You are operationally disciplined, follow the required standards, and know which conversations matter to achieve the set goals.
- You pay attention to people and know how to get the best out of people thanks to your management skills. You actively talk to the people on the work floor, connect with everyone and address people on matters that can be done more efficiently.
- You have strong analytical skills, whereby you can also set out your vision in targeted actions in clear language for the employees.
- Thanks to your strong communication skills, you know better than anyone how to create a positive working environment with a focus on open communication and continuous improvement.
- Excellent Dutch and English skills.

We are looking for a new Plant Director / Plant Manager for our plant in Lelystad. In the position of Plant Manager, you oversee and manage all production activities within the plant. You guarantee safe and efficient factory operations while maintaining high quality standards and compliance with the relevant regulations. Furthermore, you strive for a positive and committed working environment for all employees. As Plant Manager, you will chair the Plant Leadership Team and report to the Vice President Manufacturing Continental Europe (CE).
This is a role for our plant in Lelystad, the Netherlands. This plant is located along the A6 in a traffic-free environment. You will find an open communication here, where everyone is closely involved in the continuous improvement of our processes and end products.
