      Arcosa Telecom is searching for a Plant Manager for our location in Muskogee, OK. The Plant Manager is responsible for safety, sustainable earning results, increasing market revenue, streamlining/standardizing workflow and creating a team environment to increase productivity. Responsibilities for this role will also include identifying and driving continuous improvement efforts, optimization of inventory networks, plant line capacity, process planning capabilities and systems and delivery performance.

      The Plant Manager’s overall objective is to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all associates, vendors, and contractors, exceed customer expectations, maintain compliance with quality guidelines and regulatory requirements, increasing service levels and achieving operational manufacturing excellence as Best-in-Class.

      What You'll Do:

      • Oversee employee and plant safety to ensure OSHA and company policy compliance
      • Develop and administers budgets and activities to fund operations, maximize investments and increase efficiency
      • Oversee safety, quality, production, maintenance, distribution, and cost accounting
      • Direct and manage resources to implement tactical business plans and programs to see work through completion
      • Communicate the vision, strategy and objectives for the plant effectively
      • Set clear and consistent expectations for performance and leverage resources available to accomplish goals
      • Follow up on critical tasks and hold people accountable for adhering to processes and protocols
      • Partner with maintenance department and vendors/contractors to coordinate preventive maintenance requirements to ensure machinery and mechanical equipment is operational
      • Stage work and recalibrate throughout the day as necessary to meet customer demands
      • Identify talent and show ownership of all aspects of plant staffing and retention
      • Exhibit a strong work ethic and focus on Lean Manufacturing, safety, quality, productivity and P&L management
      • Coordinate and Communicate with the Project Management, Purchasing and Engineering departments to align resources and coordinate work.

      What You'll Need:

      • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing overall operations (safety, quality, procurement, logistics, maintenance, budget, etc.) in an engineered-to-order manufacturing environment
      • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
      • Experience in an industrial steel manufacturing plant preferred
      • Experience with moderate to complex project management involving materials and manufacturing processes in a steel fabrication environment
      • Experience with moderate to complex operations with products on manufacturing lines including cutting steel plate, fitting, welding, and outfitting
      • Knowledge of machines and tools used for steel fabrication (plasma tables, saws, press brakes, welders, CNC machining), including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
      • Ability to apply quality control for moderate regulatory & testing requirements
      • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices
