- Partner with the Diagnostic (DX) sales force to identify and pursue customers actively evaluating or purchasing plasma protein diagnostic systems, including both existing customers and new prospects.
- Proactively develop new business opportunities and effectively position Siemens' plasma protein solutions to win competitive accounts and grow market share.
- Manage and grow the installed base of Siemens systems, with a strong focus on driving incremental revenue through adoption of newly launched assays.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for plasma protein diagnostics, supporting both specialist and generalist sales efforts and enabling customer-facing sales success.
- Lead and coordinate all opportunity-driven sales activities, including technical presentations, financial and business proposals, competitive positioning, equipment demonstrations, site visits, customer references, contract negotiations, and sales closure.
- Support customers through the post-sale implementation process to ensure a successful transition and long-term satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and disciplined Customer Relationship Management (CRM) practices, ensuring timely opportunity progression, forecasting accuracy, funnel management, and transparent reporting. Collaborate closely with Account Managers to align strategy and execution.
- Develop newly installed customers into reference accounts by exceeding revenue and growth expectations, maximizing customer profitability, and fostering strong customer loyalty.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within assigned accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Scientific Support, Technical Applications, and Customer Service teams to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
- Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of successful sales experience in clinical diagnostics, laboratory solutions, or specialty healthcare, including but not limited to:
- Laboratory capital equipment or instrumentation
- Diagnostic assays or reagents
- Specialty medical devices or healthcare solutions supporting hospital, reference lab, or integrated delivery networks
- Familiarity with plasma protein diagnostics and markers is beneficial; however, strong clinical selling skills, consultative sales experience, and the ability to learn complex diagnostic solutions are considered equally critical.
- Prior exposure to plasma protein testing, including Free Light Chains, is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, work within cross-functional teams, and effectively collaborate with account managers and/or other specialists.
- Clinical Diagnostics or Laboratory Capital Equipment sales experience strongly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.

- All field-based sales hires must reside within their assigned geography, territory, or defined MSA (Metropolitan Statistical Area).

Plasma Sales Specialist
This role is ideal for a driven sales professional seeking the next step in their career within clinical diagnostics. As a Plasma Sales Specialist, you will partner closely with the Diagnostic (DX) sales organization to expand Siemens' plasma protein portfolio by driving new equipment placements, growing the installed base, and increasing assay utilization across your territory.

The base pay range for this position is:
$85,600 - $117,700
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
