TE Connectivity's Plating Teams operate assigned automated plating machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.Roles & Responsibilities
ROLE OBJECTIVE
The above position has been created to lead a team of Engineers and Technician in the Operations team and set up , establish Reel to Reel plating Lines in TE Shirwal plant .
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for defining and setting up a Reel to Reel plating line for (Tin, Silver ) in the plant .
• Build the Operations team for end to end execution of project ensuring Safety , Quality , Delivery and productivity KPI’s of the department
• Able to troubleshoot the plating lines operational and quality issues.
• Able to handle the Preventive Maintenance activities of plating line and supporting equipment infrastructure.
Required Skills
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE
• Technical Diploma / Degree B.E – Chemical/Electrical / Electronics
• Masters in Technical would be an added advantage.CRITICAL EXPERIENCE
• 12-13 + years of experience working in medium or large matrix organizations catering to Automotive or Export oriented customers/products
• Experience in Barrel plating, reel to reel, electroless and Vibratory plating for various metals Gold, Palladium, Copper, Nickel, Tin, Silver and Lead.
• Experience in operations and preparations of gold and precious metal recovery Units.
• Good knowledge in plating process parameters to optimize the production and enhance the quality
• Operating knowledge of ETP, RO System, and Chemical and Physical Labs for Plating plant
• Experience in chemical analysis, inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES), UV, XRF Analysis
