- Identify, develop and expand existing and new client relationships and key accounts across several brands
- Onboard new merchants to our existing affiliate network partnerships and negotiate competitive commission rates
- Develop close relationships with commerce editors across our brands to bridge affiliate partnerships between clients and edit, and identify areas for campaign optimization, new placement opportunities and emerging partners of interest
- Disseminate e-comm best practices and affiliate commission updates to editors including information re: rate incentives, seasonal opportunities, and top-converting advertisers
- Report account updates, revenue and projections of affiliate networks to the commerce teams
- Research, analyze and monitor competitive media for new leads
- Help onboard new partners to help grow commerce revenue across our portfolio of brands
- 3-5 years of experience in digital media and/or affiliate marketing
- Proven content marketing experience in a digital environment with an emphasis on data collection and analysis
- Proficiency with major affiliate networks including Impact Radius, CJ, Rakuten, AWIN, ShareASale, Pepperjam, Partnerize
- General knowledge of e-commerce best practices and what drives both content and affiliate performance
- A strong understanding of the product reviews space, and an enthusiasm for products and brands across key consumer categories
The Commerce Manager will work closely with the VP of E-Commerce to manage, develop, and grow affiliate partnerships for the entire PMC portfolio, including Rolling Stone, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, SPY, Billboard and more. This role will support both editorial efforts and affiliate campaigns by onboarding new merchants, negotiating commission rates, and tracking and reporting on this content with an eye towards performance.
The Commerce Manager must be a data-oriented, organized, multi-tasker who is well versed in commerce content performance, both from an editorial and affiliate marketing perspective. The right candidate has a keen understanding of what drives conversions across multiple platforms on a wide variety of topics spanning tech, fashion, beauty, health, home, streaming, and more. Our ideal candidate should also have an awareness of key merchants within the E-Commerce space.

Typical wage range: $80k - $90k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
