What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Travel to implement POS systems in various retail environments
- Ensure successful installation of software, networking, and security functions
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues at customer sites
- Document all activities in compliance with company quality procedures
- Train customer staff and assist with remote installations and support tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent field experience, with 2+ years in computer/system hardware, software, and networking repair
- Strong troubleshooting, reverse engineering, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in retail or customer service, with effective communication and organization skills
- Willingness to travel extensively (35-40 weeks/year), including weekends and holidays
- Valid passport and clean driving record
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with CATAPULT retail point-of-sale software/drivers
- Previous experience in a technical support role within the retail technology sector
