What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the advocacy expert in Philadelphia, educating constituents on relevant legislation and public health data
- Build relationships with strategic partners, lawmakers, and community leaders to support Environmental Justice and Reproductive Freedom
- Track and monitor relevant legislation at city, state, and federal levels in partnership with the Policy and Advocacy Manager
- Engage constituents through educational materials and campaigns to foster organizational champions
- Implement mutual aid efforts to promote direct action and organizing for Reproductive Justice
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Environmental and/or Climate Justice, Racial, Gender, or Reproductive Justice, or related fields
- At least two (2) years of experience hosting or facilitating workshops and trainings, demonstrating excellent planning and presentation skills
- Strong public speaking skills and experience in relationship building
- Proficiency in Google Suite; experience with database programs such as Bloomerang is preferred
