- Support the U.S. Policy Communications Lead with team coordination and organizational initiatives.
- Act as the liaison between regional U.S. communications leads and cross-functional internal stakeholders.
- Drive communications processes and ensure alignment across multiple teams.
- Develop and edit internal and external communication materials, including:
- Press releases and media materials
- Story pitches
- Op-eds
- Messaging frameworks and guidelines
- Q&A documents
- Briefing documents
- Executive presentations
- Talking points
- Partner with the Public Policy team to communicate new community policies that protect the business and enhance Airbnb's brand reputation.
- Improve communication processes, documentation, and best practices across the team.
- Provide surge support for nationwide policy communications initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, corporate communications, public affairs, or a related field.
- Experience supporting communications teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong experience drafting press materials, messaging documents, presentations, and executive communications.
- Prior experience working with media/press relations.
- Strong project coordination and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to improve workflows and share best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Communications Coordinator/Policy Communications Specialist to support the U.S. Policy Communications Lead by driving cross-functional collaboration, coordinating communications efforts, and providing organizational support for policy communication initiatives. This role will develop internal and external communication materials, partner closely with regional communications teams, and work with the public policy organization to strengthen Airbnb's reputation through effective messaging and communication strategies.
