  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Explore datasets to find new insights about American criminal justice systems
  - Contextualize and communicate key findings to internal and external stakeholders
  - Collaborate with Data Science and Implementation Engineering teams to design and execute impactful roadmaps
  - Partner with Product Management and State Engagement teams to integrate analyses into policy processes
  - Assess policy priorities to develop analytical methods that provide actionable insights for decision-making
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - Strong communication and collaboration skills to foster a data-oriented culture
  - 2 or more years of practical experience exploring, analyzing, and processing complex datasets
  - Proficiency in SQL for working with large datasets, including writing efficient queries
  - High familiarity with Python, particularly the Pandas package for statistical analysis and data visualization
  - Sufficient math or statistical background to reason about analysis design and examine results closely
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Experience adapting quantitative methods that introduce meaningful metrics in ambiguous contexts
  - Experience working in a cross-functional organization that designs and launches products for users
  - Familiarity with large datasets from the public sector, especially related to criminal justice
  - Experience with tools such as Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Looker, and Jupyter notebooks
