What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide operational support for various departments including Case Management and Pharmacy
- Manage outbound member calls for welcome and service recovery opportunities
- Interact with members and providers through calls, faxes, and emails regarding authorizations and inquiries
- Collect member or provider-specific information as required
- Assist in mentoring new employees and participate in non-clinical projects as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare experience in a clinical or insurance setting
- Ability to apply organizational, regulatory, and credentialing principles
- Strong communication skills for interaction with members and providers
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the corporate office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in case management or condition management roles
- Familiarity with HEDIS and Health Risk Assessments
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in mentoring or training new employees
