- Drive strategic alignment in the I&R Portfolio
- Drive alignment on Portfolio priorities within the defined area, resulting in annual priorities and targets aligned with capabilities (R&D resources & budget): analyze (strategy, feasible/available, R&D resources/competencies), facilitate / mediate
- Lead the Portfolio & Project governance routines with Leadership Team for portfolio review, project approvals, gating and closures, as applies
- Provide regular overview on I&R portfolio analysis to key stakeholders as needed, flagging gaps / deviations vs. plan, using "standard" views, build specific analysis as needed, display, and interpret trends
- Ensure integration of transversal programs and innovation activities into a consolidated portfolio view
- Provide regular overview on R&D Resources to key stakeholders as needed, flagging gaps/deviations vs. plan. Contribute to R&D budget building and control, cost allocation and reporting
- Ensure compliance and adherence with Standards and Guidelines relevant for the I&R process (Portfolio & Projects) through internal checks and training/coaching
- Minimum 5 years of experience in different roles within an R&D environment.
- Bachelors and/or Master’s in business & Economics or other business-related university degree.
- Portfolio and/or Project management experience
- Recognized experience in stakeholder management
- High level of project management skills
- High level of understanding of SAP, I2L/LEO and R&D resource planning
- Understanding of internal processes related to budgeting (OPEX, CAPEX, Budget, LE etc.)

We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to support specific Nestlé Research Institutes for the Innovation & Renovation (I&R) portfolio management process.
Ensuring that the portfolio of projects is maximizing the value created by our R&D organization. In addition, the Portfolio Manager will provide R&D and business management acumen for effective decision-making, including target setting, prioritization, and respective resource allocation.
The Portfolio Manager ensures that the set priorities reflect expected financial and non-financial targets to minimize risk.
