What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own the program charter and roadmap; establish vision, outcomes, success metrics, and governance
- Plan, control delivery, and manage program scope, schedule, and budget
- Lead a cross-functional delivery team including project managers, business analysts, and communications specialists
- Oversee performance management and reporting, including KPI/OKR frameworks and executive dashboards
- Drive organizational change management initiatives to ensure effective adoption and user enablement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in business administration, project management, healthcare management, or related field
- PMP certification (or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing healthcare programs or federal modernization initiatives
- Minimum 6 years of experience supporting large corporations or government agencies
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple contractors
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PgMP or PfMP certification
- Experience with Veterans Health Administration (VHA) or federal healthcare modernization programs
- SAFe, CSM/PSM, or Prosci certification (or equivalent OCM credential)
- Familiarity with federal acquisition practices and stakeholder engagement best practices
- Hands-on experience with training and communication for technology adoption at scale
