- Executes tasks related to bond trading, securities movement, Ginnie Mae pooling, and settlement functions.
- Performs regular reconciliations of securities custodial accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manages the movement of securities, including both physical and Depository Trust Company (DTC) transactions; prepare direction letters as required.
- Executes Delivery Versus Payment (DVP) and Free of Payment (FOP) settlements for securities transactions.
- Fosters and maintains effective relationships with securities custodial banks, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to DACA agreements.
- Coordinates Ginnie Mae settlements with broker dealers, settlement agents, and custodians.
- Collaborates closely with the Capital Markets leadership team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all secondary market transactions.
- Supports warehouse bank relations and settlement coordination.
- Assists with audits, warehouse bank reviews, and compliance requests.
- Maintains detailed documentation, process notes, and quality controls for all pool and trade activities.
- Requests Ginne Mae commitment authority and tracks amounts to ensure loan pools stay within predetermined limits and Company maintains sufficient commitment authority.
- Acts as back-up for VP of Portfolio Operations, performing tasks such as distribution of daily management reporting, tail inventory and draw requests.

- VP, Portfolio Operations
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience in capital markets portfolio operations, preferably in an investor services or financial services organization.
- Knowledge of Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae) and Bloomberg processes, systems, and related legal and regulatory requirements and underwriting guidelines is preferred.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet tight, market-driven deadlines.
- Experience with DTC transactions, DVP/FOP settlements, and direction letter preparation.
- Familiarity with DACA requirements and custodial bank relations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and time zones.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in documentation, process controls, and compliance support.
- Excellent Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Analytical, influencing, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills with good business judgement.
- Project management, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with GinnieNet, SQL, Bloomberg and similar platforms are a plus.
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory reviews is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- Bachelor's Degree

Purpose of Role

Supports Ginnie Mae settlements and secondary market transactions, and collaborates closely with broker dealers, settlement agents, custodians, and the Capital Markets leadership team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all related activities. Also supports warehouse bank relations, audits, and compliance requests, while maintaining rigorous documentation and process controls.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is ($95,000 - $125,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
