What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a pipeline of loans to be audited daily, ensuring minimum completion standards are met
- Participate in internal audits by executing assigned tasks according to departmental methodology and professional standards
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis of identified findings in loan activity
- Review and analyze loan history and timelines within loan origination systems
- Document findings and completed work clearly and concisely in accordance with departmental guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in loan processing or mortgage auditing
- Familiarity with mortgage loan processes
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Encompass loan processing software
- Advanced decision-making skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of data analytics in auditing practices
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods and innovative technologies
