      Position: Inventory First Line Manager
      Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time)
      Location: Heathrow Airport – Polar Park
      Salary: £30,000
      Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday. 09:00 to 17:00

      PLEASE NOTE: The role will require travelling airside on occasion. (Polar Park is based just outside the Airport). You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check and counter terrorism check ) if you are to be successful for this position.

      DHL work in partnership with British Airways at Heathrow Airport to provide all aircraft cleaning within their Heathrow Fleet. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the cleaning operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

      WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

      • Lead the team to develop the most efficient coverage and service possible
      • Maintain processes and required statutory qualifications to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and local legal obligations
      • Act as the first point of contact for the customer relating to service level matters and build a good relationship to develop trust and ensure strong engagement
      • Responsible for the overall annual performance of the team, including achievement of agreed customer KPIs, delivering budget and other internal KPIs
      • Review incident investigations within the work place, respond to escalated issues of non-compliance and ensure relevant safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.

      WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

      • Must have been residing in the UK for the last three years (Requirement of Counter terrorism check)
      • Experience in managing a team
      • High levels of competency with Microsoft Office / Computer Skills
      • Excellent communication skills at all levels
      • Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation
      • Airport Operations experience (preferred)

      SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

      • Be able to provide 5 years address history
      • Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
      • To obtain a full airside ID
