      Our Green Power Portfolio team is looking for you! You will be part of our Portfolio Management Desk, working on our expanding activities in Uniper core markets. This is a new role that requires portfolio management skills and a proactive, commercial mindset. You will be based at our central trading floor in Düsseldorf and work on a variety of tasks.

      Your responsibilities

      • Driving the profitability of the end-to-end Uniper green power business in Uniper core and new markets, by understanding and managing the embedded risk exposures and by developing and implementing profitable hedging strategies
      • Developing and executing hedging strategies for complex long-term deals in new markets
      • Cooperating closely with our Pricing & Structuring unit, Origination and Sales to assess, conclude and hedge Green Power deals
      • Developing a commercial and fundamental view of all aspects of the renewable power markets
      • Developing and maintaining tools to monitor portfolio performance and exposure, performing daily portfolio management tasks, managing daily positions within corporate parameters and guidelines and tracking performance expectations

      Your profile


      • You have at least 3 years of portfolio management experience, with PnL responsibility and experience in European energy markets. Experience in Renewables PPAs in Spain and GoOs is a plus
      • You have a genuine interest in the renewable power markets and a deep understanding of their fundamental drivers
      • You are an outstanding analytical thinker with strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset
      • You can prioritize your most important topics and initiate any project quickly by yourself. A hands-on, 80/20 mentality completes your profile
      • You have knowledge of quantitative methods and IT applications for optimization & trading, with a specific focus on portfolio management, coding experience with Python is a plus
      • You have a relevant quantitative university degree (Economics, Engineering, Finance, Physics, Mathematics)
