      Job summary

      Delamere Medical Practice is a well-established, patient-focused GP practice serving a diverse community in the town of Stretford in Trafford, Greater Manchester. We are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Manager to lead our operations and help us continue to thrive and lead.

      Main duties of the job

      Job Description - We are looking for a motivated Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our surgery. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice, managing staff, and enhancing patient satisfaction. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

      Managing practice finances, budgets, and NHS contracts

      Leading and supporting our team of clinical and administrative staff

      Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and healthcare regulations

      Driving improvements in patient services and practice efficiency

      Liaising with external partners, including the NHS

      Building and maintaining strong relationship with Primary Care Networks

      Job responsibilities

      We are looking for a motivated Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our surgery. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice, managing staff, and enhancing patient satisfaction. Responsibilities include but not limited to.

      Managing practice finances, budgets, and NHS contracts

      Leading and supporting our team of clinical and administrative staff

      Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and healthcare regulations

      Driving improvements in patient services and practice efficiency

      Liaising with external partners, including the NHS

      Building and maintaining strong relationship with Primary Care Networks

      Person Specification.

      Proven experience in healthcare management (GP practice experience preferred)

      Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

      Knowledge of NHS systems, funding, and compliance requirements

      Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

      IT proficiency (experience with EMIS or similar systems)

      Ability to motivate, manage, coach, train, deliver performance

      Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presenting)
