      Additional Information About the Role

      Our thriving orthopedics/hand surgery practice in Belleville/Shiloh is looking for an experienced People Leader to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.

      Primarily supports front office activities and will learn clinical side. We are searching for candidates with at least 2 years of practice management experience.

      Schedule

      Monday - Friday 7a-4p with some flexibility

      Administrative on-call (to manage call-ins)

      Role Purpose

      The Practice Manager is assigned to an ambulatory site working under the guidance of a Practice Administrator and is responsible for the day-to-day clinic operations. Responsibilities include: direct supervision of approximately 15-25 clinical and non-clinical staff, managing patient experience and supporting/coordinating financial and administrative activities as assigned.

      Responsibilities

    • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
    • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
    • Respond to patient complaints and engages in service recovery; analyzes and determines necessity to elevate the complaint based on situation, monitors patient satisfaction metrics and takes action as needed to ensure operational success.
    • Leads and collaborates with staff to ensure a cohesive work environment in support of highly engaged and productive workforce. Address employee relations concerns and escalate issues as appropriate.
    • Leads and participates in daily huddles and rounding for facilitation of patient flow to ensure patient, employee and provider satisfaction. Monitors and ensures adherence to department standard work and procedures. Available for immediate and timely response to barriers or obstacles to daily workflows. Escalates issues as appropriate via established processes to ensure timely resolution.
