What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with curriculum development and the design of training materials for high school students with disabilities
- Research course design and methodologies to enhance training effectiveness
- Prepare content and format for courses, conferences, and other training events
- Track curricula through all stages of development, revision, production, release, and promotion
- Perform various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the role
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field
- 48 months of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in formatting and editing, along with computer and research skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience interacting effectively with university staff and faculty
- Demonstrated ability to perform highly detailed work in a standard office environment
- Familiarity with the needs of students with disabilities and transition services
