      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collect patient intake documents ahead of appointments to streamline the registration process
      - Answer inbound and outbound calls while collecting essential patient demographics and insurance information
      - Verify insurance details, including Medicaid and Medicare information, for incoming patients
      - Direct out-of-network insured patients to the Office of Financial Counseling and provide appointment details
      - Support patient care activities by performing duties related to pre-registration and insurance verification

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma, GED, or formal educational equivalent
      - Minimum of 2 years of customer service or healthcare experience
      - Ability to follow oral instructions, read, and write effectively
      - Proficient computer skills, including basic keyboard skills and telephone etiquette
      - Excellent customer service skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate degree in general studies or a related field
      - One year of experience in a medical office setting
      - Knowledge of basic medical terminology, with competency expected within 3 months of hire
      - Prior experience in patient registration
