What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical assistance to up to 100 farmers in adopting conservation practices
- Promote the Precision Conservation Management program and specific conservation practices
- Collaborate with PCM leadership and staff to implement program objectives
- Conduct farmer meetings and training sessions to educate participants
- Maintain detailed records of farmer management data and program activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural management, production agriculture, agronomy, or ag economics
- Ability to prioritize a varied workload and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel extensively within the designated multi-county area
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry into online platforms
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Understanding of current farming practices and nitrogen application techniques
- Experience in agricultural outreach or education roles
