What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct detailed analysis of supplier proposals, evaluating cost elements such as Direct Materials, Labor Hours, and Profit
- Generate analysis reports that determine fair and reasonable pricing for US Government contracts
- Collaborate with Supply Chain stakeholders to produce comprehensive written reports for prime proposal submissions
- Support price negotiations to ensure alignment between the employer and subcontractors/suppliers
- Participate in audits and field inquiries from US Government customers regarding analysis findings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience with financial data analysis and financial modeling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with negotiations
- Willingness to travel approximately 10-20%
- Knowledge of Financial and Managerial Accounting concepts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Auditing experience
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Knowledge of Overhead Rate development
- Supply Chain experience
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or MBA
