What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with proposal teams to prepare competitive bids for federal government contracts
- Evaluate and research items to determine selling prices based on market conditions and exclusivity
- Review U.S. Government requests for proposals (RFP) to ensure compliance with cost requirements
- Develop pricing models and formats for cost proposal data to meet client specifications
- Analyze contracts and cost data to support bid preparations and pricing strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant pricing experience, particularly with the Department of State
- Proficient in using U.S. Government cost templates and building complex cost models
- Understanding of U.S. Government regulations related to cost proposals (FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for a degree
- Experience pricing contracts for non-U.S. clients, including commercial and sovereign entities
- Proven ability to manage multiple bids under shifting deadlines and priorities
- Willingness to travel infrequently with limited notice
- Strong background in a variety of contract types including FFP, FP-LOE, and Cost Reimbursable
