What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Implement the enterprise sourcing strategy to drive substantial annual savings
- Lead and coordinate discussions with executives to establish sourcing strategies for critical business capabilities
- Conduct complex sourcing events with strategic suppliers, developing project work plans and evaluation criteria
- Partner with stakeholders to source products and services, utilizing proven tools and analytics
- Manage supplier relationship performance for complex suppliers, ensuring operational and risk management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a related field
- 8+ years of experience in a related field; or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Strong understanding of complex services agreements, KPIs, and performance-based contracting
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with clinical leaders and cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies in multi-category healthcare payer environments
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery models and service categories
- Ability to quantify savings and business value drivers
- Familiarity with vendor engagement and negotiation processes
- Strong command of change management principles
