What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the implementation and monitoring of federal health programs, particularly alternative payment models
- Design monitoring frameworks, performance metrics, and analytic strategies for federal contracts
- Direct large-scale implementation and monitoring projects, ensuring compliance with federal requirements
- Collaborate with data teams to connect monitoring indicators to relevant data sources
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering professional development and high-quality research output
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ph.D. in Economics, Health Services Research, or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 11 years of experience
- Minimum of 5 years leading complex implementation or evaluation projects
- Direct experience with CMS implementation, monitoring, or operational support
- Proven track record of securing or contributing to business with CMS or HHS agencies
- Extensive knowledge of Medicare payment policy and experience with Medicare or Medicaid claims
