  Role description:
  With an exciting pipeline of rail work in Perth public transport and heavy haul projects across regional WA, our Rail team is looking for a Commissioning Manager
  Role accountabilities:
  • Overseeing the commissioning process for new rail construction projects including stations
  • Review of Alliance contractors Commissioning Management Plans
  • Provide specialist advice to the project team on engineering assurance, design, construction, testing, integration & commissioning processes.
  • Manage and coordinate project commissioning activities to ensure that delivered assets meet PTA’s commissioning handover and acceptance requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate commissioning interfaces between Alliance/s and PTA project teams under the existing Alliance agreements
  • Manage and coordinate commissioning interfaces between Alliance/s and PTA internal divisions
  • Provided detailed input and lead the development of project management plans, procedures and checklists that enhance infrastructure integration, commissioning, and entry into service (EIS) of new assets.
  • Monitoring progress and keeping track of milestones
  • Identifying any potential problems or delays
  • Resolving any issues that arise during the commissioning process
  • Writing reports and documenting findings
  • Providing updates to project managers
  Qualifications & Experience:
  First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and want to be part of city-shaping projects that change the way we move around our capital. You are a tertiary qualified engineer with extensive experience in the rail industry. You will come to us with:
  • Extensive experience in rail and station facilities commissioning
  • Experience and/or understanding of Systems Engineering and Type Approval Process
  • Effective communication skills and ability to liaise with other divisions of PTA and contractors.
  • A flair for engaging with stakeholders at all levels
