What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, lead, and conduct second-party QMS audits for compliance with relevant standards across RTX business units
- Complete and issue detailed audit reports, including findings and corrective actions
- Collaborate with regional leads and functional leaders to support the audit schedule
- Analyze audit performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in special audits and assessments as required by RTX business units
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University Degree in business administration, Operations Management, or Quality Management, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in QMS auditing within the aerospace, space, and defense industries
- Familiarity with 91XX series and ISO9001 standards
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to certify as an Aerospace Auditor (AA) or Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) within one year
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Current authenticated Lead Audit certification
- Existing AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training) Certification
- Experience planning and coordinating multiple audits simultaneously
- ASQ Certification (CQA, CQE, CQM)
- Proficiency with audit management software and tools
