What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for endoscopy procedures and notify authorization teams
- Manage scheduling within electronic systems for multiple facilities and ambulatory surgery centers
- Ensure accuracy of facility and professional schedules through regular audits
- Assist patients with financial clearance, prior authorizations, and payment options
- Maintain physician schedules, including meetings and inpatient rounding
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three years of medical office experience
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and data entry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of ASC coding and billing processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in medical procedure scheduling
- Familiarity with electronic scheduling systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
