What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the principal Procurement & Supply Chain representative on all assigned business development pursuits and proposal efforts
- Lead the development and execution of Procurement & Supply Chain strategies that balance cost, technical performance, schedule, and compliance
- Manage the full proposal sourcing lifecycle, including drafting RFIs/RFQs and leading negotiations
- Conduct supplier analysis and recommend sourcing approaches that mitigate risk while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate sourcing solutions into cohesive proposal packages
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 4-6 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or subcontract management, preferably in aerospace and defense
- Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Comprehensive understanding of government acquisition processes, including RFP development and compliance standards
- U.S. citizenship required; active or eligible security clearance preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working within ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA
- Demonstrated experience managing supply chain activities on large-scale, multi-branch government proposals
- Familiarity with the structures and mission priorities of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps
- Proven ability to engage key stakeholders and integrate insights into high-quality proposal deliverables
