      Location: Eastern Europe & Mediterranean

      KONE is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Manager for Eastern Europe & Mediterranean to join our dynamic team at KONE Procurement. In this strategic role, you will lead a team of Procurement Specialists and take full accountability for sourcing and purchasing activities across multiple countries. This is a great opportunity to drive change, elevate the sourcing function, and significantly impact our future direction in a complex, dynamic Front Line (FL) environment.

      Responsibilities:

      • Coordinate and supervise sourcing activities across 15 countries, in close collaboration with local business operations and Procurement Category Managers.
      • Act as the key connection between Area/Global Procurement and your local team. Balance the need to serve local business priorities while also driving strategic procurement objectives, managing key relationships with business stakeholders.
      • Develop and grow the procurement team’s capabilities, shift mindsets, and transform ways of working to improve both efficiency and impact.
      • Lead local supplier selection, negotiation, and management while ensuring compliance with KONE’s sourcing policies, quality standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
      • Regularly report on sourcing unit KPIs and manage supplier relationships at the local level.

      Key Requirements:

      • A background in the construction or service industry (not production/manufacturing) with a proven ability to thrive in a Front Line (FL) environment.
      • Experience managing stakeholders in a fragmented environment (15 countries + Israel). The ability to balance local business priorities with strategic topics is crucial.
      • Proven ability to develop the team, drive change, and foster a high-performance culture. Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide team members through the transformation process.
      • In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies and strong negotiation skills, with the capability to lead sourcing initiatives at both local and global levels.
      • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to various stakeholders.
      • Travel Flexibility: 50% travel required initially, with a reduction to 1 trip / month after the first 1-2 years.
