Salary: £56,421 - £68,959

Location: Edinburgh, Bristol, Halifax, London, Wolverhampton

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, in one of our office sites.

About this opportunity
We have a vacancy for an IT Sourcing Manager within the Group Services & Security team which looks after Cloud, Enterprise Infrastructure, Datacentres, Modern Workplace, Networks, Security and Tooling.

In this critical role, you'll lead delivery of BAU sourcing activities including category specific projects across a variety of Technology domains and aligned supplier management activities.

As a Procurement Manager (IT Sourcing) you will be:

• Operating as a member of the IT category sourcing team with a team of expert sourcing professionals, contributing to the ongoing development of the category vision and purpose, supporting the continued advancement of the function

• Supporting the Cloud Services platform team focused on Private and Public cloud through the delivery of efficient sourcing strategies to meet their business goals

• Developing and nurturing critical relationships with key partners, driving commercial thinking by challenging what we have always done in order to deliver greater commercial value for the organisation

• Maintaining an effective and up to date understanding of the technology supply market, looking after critical supplier relationships to seek early access to new and innovative product developments, allowing you to build and deliver to support the Group's technology transformation

What we need from you:

• Deep technology sourcing expertise with a specific depth of knowledge and experience of IT services, software, and technology categories (essential).

• Experience in developing and owning category plans and strategies and supporting business areas on sophisticated sourcing projects within dynamic environments.

• Ability to articulate, influence and translate strategic objectives from business clients into outstanding sourcing strategies, approaches, and delivery

• Success in development of relationships with critical IT partners and evidence of operating as a trusted and valued business partner

• An upbeat, resilient, and adaptable style, with evidence of success in constantly evolving environment
