What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the contract life-cycle and supplier relationships, ensuring compliance and effective communication
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for medium to high criticality materials and services
- Conduct evaluations of proposals and negotiations with suppliers
- Participate in procurement project management teams to support contract compliance
- Mentor team members and provide support to other procurement personnel
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5-7 years of related experience in procurement
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related productivity tools
- Experience with digital document approval platforms like DocuSign and Adobe Sign is beneficial
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience in large industrial construction procurement
- Familiarity with multiple industrial market sectors
- Prior experience interfacing with client and engineering entities
