What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage product selection tool data for Commercial and Residential HVAC products
- Participate in the new product introduction process from inception to end of life
- Gather and aggregate information from various sources, including SQL Server databases and SAP data
- Maintain SQL data and modify VBA code as needed
- Document procedures and work instructions to standardize the Product Configuration process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in programming product selection
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and VBA/VSA for data mining from relational databases
- Strong knowledge of data and product selection processes
- Technical writing skills to document work procedures for organizational use
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of HVAC products, including split and packaged systems
- Experience with SAP and Variant Configurator modeling
- Ability to transition desktop solutions to enterprise-grade databases
- Familiarity with software product deployment into production systems
- Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management
