What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain relationships with agricultural customers to increase product revenue for the employer's Greener World brand
- Conduct product distribution planning and logistics to support year-round product use and financial performance
- Manage financial risk associated with product sales and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide technical guidance and logistical support for land application programs
- Attend agriculture-related conferences and workshops to promote product benefits and gather insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in Soil Science, Agronomy, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in biosolids recycling and soil management
- Prior experience in an agricultural environment is essential
- Willingness to travel domestically 25-50% of the time, including occasional overnight stays
- Certification in crop advisory, agronomy, soil science, or related fields is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Sales experience within the agricultural sector
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar software
- Understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory programs related to fertilizer and soil amendments
- Experience in managing regulatory compliance for land application permits
