Job Description
- Req#: 415807
- The preparation of rundown / scripts / font lists / VTR elements/ graphics
- Liaising with the Producer, Director and Traffic Department to ensure all program, commercial and sponsorship elements are included in the shows
- Timing news to facilitate accurate on-air and off-air times as well as timing for commercial inserts
- Coordinating content elements for news broadcasts such as, but not limited to: News Ticker, Markets, Milestones, etc.
- Researching, coordinating, conducting interviews and writing stories for broadcast
- Other duties as required.
- Post secondary education in Broadcasting, Journalism or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills
- Accuracy, including timing, spelling and other content elements
- Ability to be accurate under the pressure of live programming
- Keen attention to detail
- Self-starter
- Experience with iNews is a definite asset
- Must be a team player who can work well under pressure, meet deadlines
- Previous work experience in a live broadcast environment is an asset
- Previous control room experience is a definite asset

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: As Required. Overtime as required. (Weekends, early mornings, and evenings as required)Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation, compilation and coordination of elements for live broadcasts under the direction of the show Producer and / or Director. Duties include:

Work Arrangement: Full-time in office (meaning that you will be required to perform your work on-site)
