This role involves driving departmental growth, ensuring financial accountability, and maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.The Production Manager fosters a culture of safety, respect, and collaboration, prioritizing both employee well-being and exceptional service delivery. This position plays a key role in optimizing production workflows, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and upholding the companys core values through effective leadership and cross-functional coordination.DescriptionTake a hands-on approach to directing and coordinating all production activities, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and cost-efficient output across departments. This role requires consistent presence on the production floor to actively lead day-to-day operationsLead, mentor, and develop production staff, promoting a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement. Provide regular coaching, performance evaluations, and support career developmentActively monitor and participate in production processes to drive efficiency, reduce waste and downtime, and minimize rework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify challenges and implement practical, floor-level solutionsEnsure all products meet company quality standards and client expectations. Partner with quality control and design teams to address issues and maintain consistencyMaintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazardsManage department budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and control labor and material costs to support financial goalsCollaborate with purchasing, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure material availability, production scheduling, and on-time deliveryParticipate in strategic planning initiatives and provide input on production capacity, capital investments, and workforce planning to support business growthDrive operational improvements through training, lean manufacturing principles, and the adoption of new tools or technologiesFoster strong communication across departments to ensure alignment of production timelines, priorities, and resource needsKey QualificationsMinimum of five years of leadership experience within a production and warehouse environment, with a proven ability to manage diverse teams and operations.
