- Plan, coordinates, instruct, monitors, and follows-up on work of subordinate employees and volunteers; ensures compliance with department policies and procedures.
- Manages programs to ensure compliance with all regulations, budgeting, and reporting.
- Serves as liaison to other agencies to obtain/coordinate assistance on client’s behalf; builds and maintains professional working relationships with community agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a related field, AND
- Four years progressively responsible experience performing social services or case management with at least one year in a supervisory capacity. OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

About this opportunity:
Supervises, coordinates, and monitors day-to-day operations of Families First programs including the Center of Hope Family Shelter Unit. Supervises casework performed by program staff ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.
