  About this opportunity:

  Supervises, coordinates, and monitors day-to-day operations of Families First programs including the Center of Hope Family Shelter Unit. Supervises casework performed by program staff ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures.

  Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinates, instruct, monitors, and follows-up on work of subordinate employees and volunteers; ensures compliance with department policies and procedures.
  • Manages programs to ensure compliance with all regulations, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Serves as liaison to other agencies to obtain/coordinate assistance on client’s behalf; builds and maintains professional working relationships with community agencies.

  What we are looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a related field, AND
  • Four years progressively responsible experience performing social services or case management with at least one year in a supervisory capacity. OR
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.

  Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.
